The moon has a powerful allure - it is full of beauty, legend, myth and romance. For us carp anglers it plays a part in dictating the mood of the fish we seek.
Any experienced carp anglers will know that the moon effects the mood of carp. A full moon can sometimes be the kiss of death, although there are always exceptions.
Generally though a full moon is not good for fishing as it means brighter nights which in turn is not good for fishing. It is a gray area though because a cloudy sky at night will mean that this pheory is unsound.
Confidence could also be a factor as looking up to a bright moon might have may have an impact on the way we feel and in turn in the way we fish.
